Who Can Join?
If you hold an associate or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you are eligible to join AAUW. If you are an undergraduate in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution, or graduate student, you can join as a student affiliate.
Member Benefits
Camden County Branch membership also includes membership in the national organization.
Members receive AAUW’s award-winning magazine AAUW Outlook, which highlights issues and individuals affecting women and girls today, and Action Network briefs that alert you to congressional actions on issues that can change your life. Members also receive the Branch annual Handbook and Directory, and a bi-monthly branch newsletter that details upcoming meetings as well as issues concerning the membership.
Dues
“Shape the Future” new member campaign 2011-2012
New members who join at a Branch meeting will be given 50% off National dues ($24.50 instead of $49). State and Branch dues remain at $10 and $6 (same for graduate students with National dues only $18.81).
Continuing membership
Yearly dues (July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012) are $65, divided as follows: $49 to National, $10 to AAUW-New Jersey and $6 to the Camden County Branch.
Life membership
Paid Life member dues are $16, divided as follows: $10 to AAUW-New Jersey and $6 to Camden County Branch.
Honorary Life Members
A member who has paid Association dues for 50 years shall become a 50-year Honorary Life Member and shall thereafter be exempt from the payment of dues.
